It sounds like you definitely need a better moisturizer! With your skin type I would try Bare Minerals Purely Nourishing Moisturizer for combo skin. I love this moisturizer and it is what I use in the summer! Another great choice is Korres Yoghurt Cream for dry/oily skin. Both of these are naturally derived products, perfect for sensitive skin! I also recommend trying a primer underneath your foundation for a smoother application. Try Tarte Clean Slate.

i cant get enough of REN’s frankincense revitalising night cream! although it is stated as a “night” cream, i use it day and night for superb hydration. i have super dry skin and now that winter has hit- i need all the moisture i can get. not only is this moisturizer super hydrating, it is packed full of free-radical fighters and collagen boosters vitamin C and citroflavonoids. the frankincense (i can’t help but think of frankenstein when i say this word) and boswellic acid help soften smile lines and wrinkles. all REN products use completely clean, bio-active ingredients (sans those nasty parabens, sulfates, synthetic frags and dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, triclosan, GMOs, you name it …) so yes beauties, rest assured- it is healthy and natural for your skin.

This versatile, oil free “Blemish Balm” officially makes the bitch list! Apply this cream as your last skincare routine step. It works to nourish and hydrate the skin, while softening the appearance of fine lines, pores, and uneven skin tone. It comes in one shade that can adjust to most skin tones, with sheer, luminous coverage. Packed with antioxidants and a SPF 27 PA++, for protection against environmental damages. Great for all skin types..
This cream is now my foundation substitute for any daytime, natural look. Make sure when applying that you actually blend it into the skin like a moisturizer.

are you curious about skincare or makeup? we have suggestions for both. :)
so sorry for the delay in responding! it sounds like you need a really good exfoliator and major hydration. for exfoliation, we recommend using a manual exfoliator twice a week like ole henrikson’s walnut scrub. philosophy’s mircacle worker a.m. pads are also amazing because not only will they exfoliate your skin with their grooved pads but give you a daily dose of antioxidants. (we love using these before makeup application for a smooth surface too!) for added hydration, the body shop makes an amazing Vitamin E serum that you can use daily as well. definitely finish with a moisturizer! we love philosophy’s miracle worker moisturizer or baremineral’s purely nourishing cream. keep us posted on what works for you/how its working!

Thank you Tarte for creating this fabulous tinted moisturizer!! This natural, lightweight, oil free, water based tinted moisturizer blends beautifully into the skin while the micro-treated mineral pigments soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It is packed with amazing ingredients such as vitamins A, C, and E, chamomile and sodium hyaluronate that work together to calm, nourish and revitalize your skin. And of course, for your protection it has an SPF 20! This formula leaves your skin feeling hydrated and has a medium build-able coverage. Love it!!!

This silky serum promotes an even skin tone, lightens dark spots and boosts your complexion’s all over radiance leaving your skin hydrated and luminous. Use this serum morning and night under your moisturizer. This serum is ideal for all skin types. And of course, is PARABEN FREE.
